1-UAE Nationals

a) “Memorandum of Understanding Between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the United Arab Emirates On Mutual Visa Exemption for Holders of Diplomatic, Special and Service Passports” was signed on 5th May 2008 in Ankara and entered into force as of 24th August 2008.

In accordance with the above mentioned memorandum, holders of official passports of both countries are exempted from visa on their visits to Turkey and the UAE up to 90 days.

b) As for holders of ordinary passports of the two countries, they are required to get visas for their visits to Turkey and UAE.

On the other hand, the UAE citizens can get a three months-valid visa from the Turkish missions abroad, as well as at the border gates till 31st October 2009.
